Make things easy – just grab a box of cake mix!

  • Whisk up the cake mix with 1 cup beer until smooth.
  • Bake according to the box instructions.
  • Heat 2 tbsp beer and stir in 2 tbsp sugar until dissolved.
  • Let the cake cool a bit, poke several holes across the top, then drizzle the beer syrup evenly until it soaks in.
  • Stir 1 ½ cup icing sugar and 2 tbsp beer together in a bowl until smooth.
  • Add more beer as needed to form icing.
  • Drizzle the icing evenly over the cake and let it set.
